Jeremy King Appointed Chair of LIV’s Transport Accident Committee

We are proud to announce that Jeremy King has been appointed Chair of the Law Institute of Victoria’s (LIV) Transport Accident Committee.

This appointment recognises Jeremy’s long-standing leadership in the TAC compensation landscape and his commitment to shaping a more effective and equitable system for injured Victorians. As an accredited personal injury specialist, Jeremy has built a reputation not only for his expertise in managing complex TAC claims but also for his tireless work in improving the broader framework in which these claims are resolved.

Over the past decade, Jeremy has maintained active involvement in numerous industry bodies and reform initiatives. He has served as a TAC representative for the Australian Lawyers Alliance (ALA), contributing to advocacy efforts on behalf of injured road users. His current committee roles include the TAC Legal Liaison Group, Protocols Working Group, No-Fault Forum Group, and Legislative Working Group.

Jeremy is also part of the joint ALA-LIV team working on the TAC Protocol Optimisation project, a collaborative initiative designed to streamline processes and improve outcomes for claimants navigating the TAC system.

Throughout his career, Jeremy has demonstrated a dual focus: achieving the best possible results for individual clients while championing systemic reforms that benefit the wider community. His appointment as Chair is a testament to both his professional integrity and the respect he commands across the legal and compensation sectors.
