Committed to justice, grounded in care
Joy is a lawyer in our Police & Prisons team. Before joining Robinson Gill, Joy worked as a solicitor at the Coroners Court of Victoria and as an Associate to his Honour Judge Purcell, Head of the Common Law Division at the County Court of Victoria. These experiences have given Joy a deep understanding of the court processes that her clients are required to navigate in order to access justice and reinforces her commitment to bridging the gap between the justice system and the communities it’s meant to serve.
With a background in community legal volunteering and discrimination research, Joy strives to ensure her legal practice centres compassion and inclusion and is grounded in the lived realities of her clients.

- Diploma of Languages (Spanish and Latin American Studies)
