A worldly background in law

Roneea (Ron) has a very unique background in law, especially when comparing her to other family lawyers.

Prior to beginning her legal career at Robinson Gill, Roneea studied international law and international relations in Rwanda and South Africa. Her research projects involved how to use the law in post-conflict situations, including reconciliation.

Bringing her conflict resolution skills to family law

Before being admitted, Roneea worked in the firm's injury law team as a law clerk. With this experience and her studies in mind, she has become an incredibly valuable team member of the firm's family law team.

Her experience dealing with conflict and people in stressful and vulnerable situations translates to being able to help people through complex family law disputes, including parenting matters and property division.

Strong ties in Melbourne's Greek and Cypriot community

Roneea is of Greek and Cypriot descent, and as such, has very strong ties in the local Greek and Cypriot community. She is an active volunteer of NEPOMAK, the World Organisation for Young Overseas Cypriots and is on the coordinating committee of Justice for Cyprus.

She is fluent in Greek and helps many clients in the firm where English is not their first language.
